Reno, Nevada to Las Vegas, Nevada

1400 Miles

Departing from Reno we head south around Lake Tahoe, Eldorado National Park, Shingle Springs and onto the California Capital, Sacramento.

Heading north we flank Clear Lake and head back down the centre of the Nappa Valley. Im positive a days break here will be spent tasting the local vines.
Next stop is the 2nd most densely populated city in the US, San Francisco. Riding across the Golden gate bridge and down Lombard St, “the crookedest Street in the world” will be a buzz. Also visiting Alcatraz is a must see.
It will be nice to be on the coast again and see the ocean so we are taking a short ocean road trip down to the lovely Monterey Bay.
Its all inland from here as we head back NE towards Yosemite National Park to view El Capitan, Glacier Point, Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls.
Now the real fun starts as we get back onto dirt trails through Kings Canyon National Park, Sequoia National Park and into Death Valley National Park. This will defiantly be a good fun section. Bring on the soft sand and gravel.
After all the dust there will be no better way to wash it down then a couple of nights in Las Vegas where dreams are made, fortunes are lost and wedding rings are sold in vending machines!!
